From my 67 Impala
A few weeks ago I sent a pile of stuff to the scrap yard. Hung onto it too long.
Today I found this piece in the back seat. Must have fallen out of one of the bins looking for a new life.
Cant be sure exactly what it is but a good guess is that it protected the shift linkage on the slip and slide 2 speed power glide transmission.
Does anyone see a value in this piece. Just want it to to to a good home.
The metal part is good covered in grease, oil. The belting part is in tragic shape and would be good to replace it by drilling out the rivets.
