Bobby Orr's folks in a 70 2+2 convertible

I spotted this Bobby Orr book today, and was thumbing through it.   I found an interesting photo of Doug & Arva Orr (Bobby's folks) in the back of a 70 2+2 convertible, obviously in a parade setting.  It must have been a light colored car (white or yellow), with a black interior, and the optional black houndstooth cloth.   That'd be a rare car with the houndstooth, as there was only 274 convertibles made to start with.

I bought this same book from him directly at a book signing event in Barrie about 10 years ago.
He was so friendly and welcoming.

I had asked him to write something specific in one book to my father-inlaw and he told me that there were
too many people in line and he couldn't customize each persons book.
While he said that, he winked at me and wrote exactly what I asked in the book that became a Christmas gift to my father-inlaw.

I also asked him about a 73 Catalina that my friends Dad swears was originally owned my him.
Bobby said that many cars were gifted to him through the years and many were re-gifted to friends and family or
re-sold for charity, so he couldn't confirm or deny my inquiry.

Such a great guy. My Dad grew up in Parry Sound and knew the Orr family well.

 It's Bobby's folks in the car.  I think it was a parade for Bobby Orr Day in Parry Sound.
