Can anyone help or tell me what the factory 633 in the center of this stamping between ET an the 78 stand for I know back in the old days engine rebuilders would put stampings on blocks but kept them away from suffix codes an vin #s really hoping someone has some info or maybe have stampings on there Canadian Pontiac i know what all the other numbers mean, that odd 633 got me thinking what it could be any ideas the 3 is most likely a correction so maybe its a 63 ?

The 633 looks like the 3 stamped sideways is a correction of the 3 stamped sideways in error, what comes after the 7811? What Ive seen on my older blocks is a partial vin but usually those numbers appear to the left of that engine stamping code. What is the casting number and casting date for this block?
