Looks like ethanol has struck and my Rochester 2GV carb on the 69 is suddenly flooding internally. I'm taking a good early guess and thinking the needle neoprene has been ate. Wondering if there is anywhere that has just the needle and seat?
Or..
Someone that has just a spare needle?
I know there are carb houses in the states (and maybe here) that probably have the parts but this is likely just the needle (tip) thats gone. I'll open it up and see.
As you may have already found out, that is a service replacement carburetor from GM. The needle and seat part number (if it helps find one) is GM # 7023813 or AC Delco 30-13.
So far I haven't been able to find any interchange in any of my books for an aftermarket needle and seat to match.

Yes, I don't know if ethanol actually affects it or not. So far I haven't had issues like that with ethanol, so it might be all good. The kit looks to be about $30 so a whole kit might be a good idea anyway?

The Carburetor Shop in Missouri supplies the best kits, they make their own leather accelerator pumps. The kits are precise to your carb number so made for an automatic or a standard transmission, not generic. Not the cheapest and they only sell complete kits.

I'm bought a CK65 kit from the Carburetor doctor. Not cheap, but right for the replacement 2GV carb #17054653 on the engine. Claims to be E compatible.
