I'm looking for an original 64 Pontiac Parisienne 327 air cleaner in good condition, just needing paint. A 64 Chev 327 is probably the same. I don't know what the differences are, but the Chev parts book lists the 64 air cleaner different from the 62/63. I assume the same for Pontiac. Anybody know the differences?
So I'm in the Canadian Pontiac and Chevrolet parts books and also checked the USA Chevrolet parts book. As far as I've ever been taught, the 64 USA Chevrolet models did not have the same air cleaner as the 64 Canadian cars (Pontiac or Chev). Is that what you believe also?
And I found it interesting that the Canadian Pontiacs used the same air cleaner lid all the way from 59-66 on 283 or 327, yet the base for the 327 in 64 was only 64 or early 65. And of course the base is 327 only because the 283 was a 2 barrel.

Sounds correct. The Canadian cars had the flat lid, while the USA Chevs had the top that incorporated the sides. I have an American 283 Impala like that.
