Correct 1965 Acadian canso 283 valve cover decals


Need some help to locate some correct 283 decals for my valve covers not sure what the correct ones look like thanks in advance

I could be wrong but I don't think the 283 in 65 Acadians had a valve cover decal. I think only the 327's had them.

I think they actually did use valve cover decals. The Canadian 283s had no raised Chevrolet logo (tons went into Canadian Pontiacs, some went into Studebakers), and they carried the black & gold rectangular decal on the valve cover. Valve cover decals were what the small blocks used through 1966. It wasn't until 1967 models that they used the air cleaner decals on small blocks, in lieu of the valve cover decals.

 

Can't forget the Studebakers. I'm sure Todd is up on them.

I would say it's the 283 econoflame black and gold rectangle. Same as the beaumonts. 64 to 66.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.
