I need to come here more often.

I've been in PEI 11 years this month. It's hard to believe it's been that long. The time has flown by! I have to admit we don't get to the beach very often so when we had that hot spell last week we took the long (lol) three minute drive down to the beach. It was good for the soul!

I really do need to come here more often!

Funny how you always overlook the beauty that is right in front of you.

I don't think much has changed in Ingersol.

So do you get to eat much lobster, Todd? One little trap...

This beach is also quite good for Bass fishing. There was a fellow fishing not far from where I took this photo and he had caught a couple of large ones. I had the opportunity to try Bass last year from a friend who caught some on the beach behind his property and it was quite good. We also have friends from Newfoundland who come here every lobster season to work. They take orders for Cod which they get from a local fisherman in Nfld. We usually buy about 10lbs which lasts us most of the year. Now that is an incredible tasting fish!

Nfld cod is like halibut from N.S., awesome fish. Nfld halibut is way better than N.S. halibut, the colder the water, the better the fish imho.

Being on a beach like that is very good for your brain and body.

Yes. I've been dealing with some potentially serious health issues lately and it seems most of them stem from stress so I really need to make some lifestyle changes. Apparently being a non-smoker/drinker and eater of healthy food doesn't always mean you'll live to be 100.

In my dad's case that is what happened. 6' tall, 175 lbs, lots of fresh air, lots of food from the garden, never drank caffeine, alcohol or tobacco his entire life, knew how to work hard physically but knew how to relax and enjoy life too, suddenly dropped from a heart attack at 62. Take time to smell the roses (and in your case take time to watch the waves).
