Seeking an "N" from the ACADIAN

Hi folks. I lost the N in the word ACADIAN from the trunk of my 65 Beaumont.
Anyone have one or aware of a source? Appreciate any help.
Thanks

RE: Seeking an "N" from the ACADIAN

I have the letter N from a 68 Beaumont rear panel if it might be close to the same.IMG_3570[1].JPG

RE: Seeking an "N" from the ACADIAN

Something that I found a while ago is that all these period Pontiacs seemed to use different letters - but some were the same size.

It's great that a scaleable image was shared, but incase the size hadn't quite clicked, I present to you an image of a 1965-1966 Lemans "N" & a 1970-1973 (Firebird tail panel) Pontiac "N";

LEMANS and PONTIAC N smallb.jpg

Now each letter had a part number cast into the back, and the part number was specific to the size of the character and the location of the studs.

If you find one that matches your other "N" in size, you will likely just need to drill new holes for the different stud locations.

(I am of course assuming that you have the full set of characters for the other side of your car - because that is what I (were I in your shoes) compare any donor against)

small correction;
I just re-read you first post, and you said this was for your trunk;
I had thought that there was always lettering on each side of those cars(!?);
Another thing you could do is complete a set of letters to re-spell ACADIAN - the only problem letter in the group would be the 'D';
PONTIAC -> A-C-A-()-I-A-N (3xA; 1xC; 1xI; 1xC)

The Portland swap meet isn't what it used to be before 2020, and I don't think the vendor who used to show up with a (literal) bucket of Pontiac letters has been back, but from time to time you can find people selling these.

 I would love to come across those containers of letters.  It would be fun to replace for the car and decorate the garage

Murray (68beaumont), was kind enough to give me an "N" from the 68 Beaumont which I'm going to try. I will make a donation to the site for his kindness.
Fingers crossed.
Thanks all
