If you are anywhere near PEI this weekend you may want to trundle over to the island to experience the 70 Mile Coastal Yard Sale. The epicenter is at Wood Islands (2 minutes from the ferry terminal) at the Wood Islands Market. At this location there are 40 vendors from all over the maritimes selling all kinds of cool items. From there hundreds of folks have yard sales on their property. Unfortunately as the organizer I can't check out the off site yard sales but I do know from past years there are lots of car parts and tools.
