I flew in B-17 Flying Fortress "Sentiment Journey" about 15 years ago. I'd previously flown in a number of DC-3's to the Arctic, so I had a general idea on what to expect.

My dad worked on the lancaster bombers as a mechanic during the second world stationed outside of Darlington England.He passed away just short of his 100th birthday.
He would have loved to have visited the museum.
