66 tach


I'm hoping someone can post a close up photo of a factory 66 tachometer. Were they only mounted on the console or also in the dash? Apparently they are exactly the same animal as the 64 GTO tach. True? Thank you very much.

You are correct in that a 64 GTO tach is the right one for a 66-67 Sport Deluxe.Think if you factory ordered the tach it belongs in the dash with the clock in the console?

Yes, the 1964 GTO tach is the correct unit for any 64-67 Beaumont and as JetRider says, it fits where the clock is.
