Just a little advice... check your rear axle bearings!

Oops... Rear axle shaft broke clean at the bearing, probably due to the latter failing. By chance, car was slowing down on a small residential street. No damage to the body, but brake shoes and springs, lines, etc. are toast.

Ok......350......under a 283 2bbl.... top end......in a 63..... Getting ready for an engine detail. Engine is pretty much stock/correct...on the top end....with rams horns...but has an HEI......which I think I will leave in place. Would really like to have the wires come up from underneath.......

Working on a 63....it has a 350 short block....with original 283 top end... We're trying to restore correct 63 pulley geometry. There is spacer/shim on the end of the water pump...under pulley....which appears to be putting the w/p pulley just slightly out of alignment...with the crank pulley......
