Here's what around 20 hours will get you. Spray parts with degreaser. Let sit. Powerwash. Dunk parts in a hot caustic tank, wait about 1 hour. Brush away softened paint while sill wet with caustic. Dunk and remove. Rinse with water. Dry. Wire wheel or scrape any hard rust to break it open. ...

So I went to fix a burnt out headlight this morning and discovered a rather irritating spring holding the frame in place (aside from the screws)... I can't see any real use for it other than to deter me from changing my headlight. Is there any particular reason I should NOT cut it off and throw it out? xo FD...

Anyone know if these are reproduced, if not, how would I go about getting some done. I have no Idea where to start, although I do know some members here have had decals reproduced. So I know it can be done at a cost. Was this sheet unique to CP's, or did the USA cars use the same one?

..can be had from Antique Chevrolet in Oakville Ontario. Usually missing or broken. These are nice reproductions. Apparently one size fits all GM's 60's +. Just picked up some today. Cheers, Mark.
