i have a very rusty 66 sd.can the body from a 67 beaumont sd (6 cyl car) be used to replace mine? i know i'll have to transfer the vin and tag. and the front end and tail light bezels. but is the main body the same? Thanks.Derek.

My '65 beaumont hood springs have become rather weak. When the hood is opened, it will drop down about three to four inches. Does anyone know a source for new springs? Thanks in advance, Bob

Noticed many fine cracks in my tailight lenses, wondering if they are a Beaumont only item or if they cross over to Chevelle or Camino? Any ideas where to find? Car purchased new by my dad in 65, 62,000 original, 230 with glide. Custom model in tahitian turquoise.

I recently purchased an aftermarket 1967 Chevelle front bumper filler panel for my '67 Beaumont SD. Is this part interchangable? I didn't have the origonal to compare before ordering.

PPG told me some time ago that there is NO more of the old DP primers.They told me it was replaced with the OMNI epoxy.Well we have been using it for some time now (even though it is NOT as GOOD) and now they tell me IT is no longer available...#$%^&%$$...Do we now just paint directly on bare metal.......

I recently purchased a 65 chevelle door for my 64 beaumont 2dr hrdtp,it's full of mud but is better than mine ( it was stolen ) also included in the purchase was a 65 post door-vendor claimed the window frame could be removed and guts transfered----has anybody tried this? ( post door is nice )

Well I popped the drivers door off today to put new springs n bushings. The top one was simple enough. I however cant get the pint out of the lower hinge. The bottom of the pin is all flattened out from some body else's doing. Just wondering what you guys do to change the lower pin n bushings? I have been se...

I don't know if anyone else has run into this. I have (2) parts with the same # 5733022. As can be seen in the pictures one has a ledge above the stub and onther dosen't. Also piece with ledge is 3/16 narrower than the other. Parts book does not list is #. Both pieces are from 64 Beaumont. Anybody got ideas. Wo...

My doors are taking a little more effort to close as they must be sagging. Are the hinges ajustable, or is replacing them with aftermarket hinges the better option? thx

i just took the rear bumper off the 4 dr sedan , noticed that the piece of metal between bumper and body is pretty rough. does any place make this or do i have to make a filler for it.

Well I have a slight leak in my back window of the 67. When i had my windshield done the guy had suggested that I try and pump some sealer in it before having a glass shop do it. So my question is what tools/ tricks are involved to get the trim off? Thanks, Jesse

On saturday I got the car to the bodyshop and the owner said Knock yourself out. It took from noon to six to complete the paint job. After 19 years of not painting I found that my body is not as fit as it was. My legs and sholders are killing me.Here are some pics.
