RE: Decisions, decisions, Vortec or stock 327

If you decide not to use the Vortec heads I'll be interested in them...

Is the 327 you have the early 60's 'Vette Suffix engine of past threads here...or am I mixing up Carls again?.

If it's the early 'Vette one, unless you're flush w/ extra dough, why not sell it complete, build a large journal engine and spend the profit on something else?.

Sorry but I'm totally confused on the two Carls now...or is there three?.
I thought I had it half straight before but since the recent wheel avatars, I've completely lost track???

confused

I have the small journal 65 engine.

If I don't use the Vortecs, I will let you know before I list them.

Both Carls are Pastors or am I confused again already?.

I'm not a pastor but I do a bit of Christian mentoring with some teenage boys if that counts!

Only 2 Carls, this site would likely crash with 3 of us!

And it's not a race, we both just talk a bit more than average...........

Sounds correct...  I hope the other 500 members, who are quiet, will start posting...    I like to read, as well, as post...  and Carl 1 will always be # 1  biggrin

Well i'm no where near catching "The Carls" in posts, but i'm closing in on a personal milestone of 200.  Back to the thread though, just a comment, i'm enjoying reading the technical info, i'm learning a lot, keep it comingsmile

Well, I think it's going to be 327 all the way. I really don't give a rip about the extra horsepower when it boils down to it. At the drag strip it will just take me a little longer to cover the same ground! I really want that "period" look.

Sending a PM to 65 Camino. If he is not interested in the Vortec heads, then I will list them here in the classifieds with an optional aluminum carb style intake for them as well.

Doing my best to help make the sale Carl. I think these would be a great addition to 65 Camino's car.
