Tail pipe location on 67 Parisienne


The tail pipe ends just behind the LHS rear door, and I get exhaust in the cabin when stopped with the windows down. I expect it was rerouted to accommodate a big tow bar that I removed when I bought the car. I want to run it straight to the back of the car. Anyone know of any problems if I do so?

Welcome here, I see you are new.

I think on the dual exhaust cars the tailpipes went to the back and pointed out at about 45 degrees and down about 45 degrees so likely you can just duplicate that, trouble free.

Are you going to post up some pics of your car in the members section? It looks like a pretty sharp car.

Welcome to the site.  One of the other members (cdnpont) here has 67 4dr HT that he just installed new pipes on and there is a photo of it.  You can see in the photo how the tailpipes should look. Here is the link:
