It will be a crossflow style , not a downflow and you will probably have some modifications to fit it. The upper and lower rad hoses, mounting brackets etc. Maybe just have the original rad cleaned/recored ? Should be less costly
I would check with Summit Racing or Jegs if you want another rad. Summit sells their own brand that is made by Northern Radiator, I think. If you want to come by my place, I have a 70 rad sitting in a box that you could measure up and see if it fits. Just a thought.
Lefty, this is more opinion than anything else but considering the originality of your car, I'd go with a reproduction rad for a first generation V8 Nova. They make a 4 core rad that would be basically a bolt in for your car that would look stock and cool like a banshee!

I know the rad it's self would bolt in but the thickness of the 4 core would bother me. I looked at an original 2 core re-cored to 3 and the core extended beyond the tanks and toward the fan.
My local old guy rad shop wants $325 to recore my 64 V-8 Harrison 2 core to 3.
i believe he is saying, be carefull i do not get anything that is too thick !! must maintain 1in clearance from my fan.. Had a full size v8 rad once with a flex fan that said maintain 1in clearance (only had 1/2 in ) first time i went round a corner and hit the gas the fan Flexed and took out the rad !!

I purchased a repro rad for my 327 but ended up returning it because it still required modification and the product was of questionable quality (from China). Then I had my existing 2 core re-cored to a 3 core with the additional depth spread equally forwards and backwards. No clearance problems. ("You have clearance, Clarence.")
