Some more pics i just made in the garage...
Very economic to drive .. start and fast idle on the middle carb .. the front & rear goes syncron at 1/3 throttel power with ... and you get some extra horse power .. with this system the Lady runs around 120 mph on german highway easily.
If you drive in the 60 mph area the car takes around 10-13 Liter fuel on 100 kilometer distance
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
I'm using an airtex fuel Pump .. No problems with to less Fuel
Each carb has 230cfm and i think its same like a 600cfm carb . With One different .. You Open the Full Programm at higher Speed .. I think an 350 Engine has the Same Pump listed if you order new. In Mist cases the 350 Engine using an 600cfm carb ..
Only the Center carb using at normal Operation ... That makes the carb system still economic ... One Big aspect in Todays Times ..

looks great !! I have collected the parts to do the same, other than the intake is the old casting from the 60's.
do you think you could shoot a pic of the throttle linkage that you built. I see you used a set of sock 2GC carbs.
what did you do with the idle circuit on the outer carbs?
HI Rabbit64,
here`re the pics ..
the linkage is from my dad ...from the 70th ..the front and rear carb are syncron and the middle carb and linkage takes the linkage from the front and rear with. You see the front carb..there is an 90 degree bend metall that will pull straight forward after and half inch play (you can adjust how early or late the front and rear carb coming with) That important for the cold idle (only the middle carb has cold idle, (electric choke you can buy for a few bucks at ebay)
If you adjust the nut at the front carb linkage you can make happen at what throttle the end and rear carb comes with ..early or later ..
The hot idle at the front and rear carbs are screw out, (no touch to the cam) because the throttle plate in the carb are completly closed.
At the front and rear carbs i removed the cold idle system ar top .. the choke plate. pluged the holes. The center carb has the vacuum for the distributer vacuum and PCV system and the front carb the vacuum for the brake booster. So it works! See my video on youtube .. sounds great and smooth and idles deep and strong ..
Thats known as "progressive linkage" runs on the centre carb. untill you "planr" your foot in it & both end carbs start to "DUMP" I'm running a similar set up on both my cars with the dual quads. Run on the rear 4bbl. then the frt. one kicks in.
