The duration at .050 lift is far more important to know than the advertised duration that can vary between camshaft suppliers. You need to give us those specs too. The lobe seperation isn't too far off a "stock" GM cam-they are usually 114 or so. I doubt that stroker needs those gears but good for you for running them anyway. With gears like that its gonna rev so single plane intake-old Victor JR, TM-1, Scorpion, Port O Sonic-whatever just single plane, pin the igition timing at 34 or 36 degrees to start-as in weld the advance on the distributor and disconnect the vacuum advance, holley double pumper-650 or 750 and fenderwell headers-must be fenderwells, early camel hump cylinder heads-no need for 2.02s but if they are already installed or came factory then ok. That should work fine. Hopefully it has a stick tranny behind it so there is no concern for idle quality under load. The idle speed should be around 900-1000 RPM. This will work just fine.

I concur with mr409. The cam you have is similar to the Duntov 30-30 if I remember right. I ran the 30-30 mechanical lifter set up in a stroker, 70 Nova with 4 gear, lots of lope, no vac and 1000rpm idle but holy man... If you have an auto, I might go with a COMP Nostagia Plus L79 grind, hydraulic lifters (low maint) don't forget the carb and higher stall as mentionedand you will have decent streetability, makes power up to around 6-6500. Have fun either way, cams and lifters are fairly cheap, experiment a bit until you are happy, it's your car!
Getting ready for paint and are preping the dash and found a cam shaft build tag. I am told the motor is well built but have little data.
Suposidly a 383 stroker has 488 gears now , cast heads, billet gold aluminum rocker arms!
I found a cam build tag in the glove box data states

Thanks yous guy are great This is an auto car!! other cam specs are duration at .050 intake 238 deg .333 exhaust 242 deg .331 yes it is lumpy at idle and pulls real hard around 6 k and revs at 5400rpm at 70 Kph
This cam "May not" make enough engine vacc. to support Power brakes??? But if you've driven already you may notice a pretty stiff pedal if you have pwr. booster brake??? Doesn't sound like this car is a Hwy. cruiser if it's turning 5400 at 70MPH My 52 turns around 1800 at 65 with 3;42's & O/D 5spd. Tremec. Are you refering to the "Rocker Covers as the "billet gold" rocker "arms" instead of "covers" ????
