Fixing car door/hinges - 1966 beaumont

Door almost got taken off today when it was driven into by another family member no.

Part of the hinge doesn't make contact anymore.

The door seems to have been warped.

The door is now a good inch away from the column/rear door

The hinge seems to be bolted onto the door with a hex bolt. But it's difficult to get at with a regular wrench, maybe there is a trick to getting it off?

I'm hoping I could probably bend the hinge back (if it's bent) or get a new one. Is there anyone here who experience this or can share some advice?

Thanks

It has been awhile since I had my doors off on my 64 but I am sure it is very similar for your 66. I think I popped off the 3 bolts on the back of the fender for a little extra room and if I remember right I got a philips on a socket and took my doors off and then played with the hinges. I was doing some adjustments the last time I had them off. I think I have some 66 hinges if you need one. I would have to check their condition if they are still tight.

I see the hinges are in with 3 bolts, but I can't get at them without somehow removing the front fender.

Edit: Looks like that's what im going to have to do

I got this one bolt under the door that's stopping me from getting the fender off. There seems to be a nut on the other end which I cant even get at.
