Windshield Question

Just want to verify my assumption.

I'm thinking in this group of full size GM cars: 2 door hardtop windshield fits 4 door hardtop fits convertible.

2 door sedan fits 4 door sedan fits wagon.

Is this about right, or am I off track somewhere?

A fellow I just met bought a windshield apparently from a 2 door for his 4 door full size 64 Chev, thinking all of them are the same. I don't believe they are. Any thoughts?

Somewhere there is a discussion on this. I believe beaumontguru clarified it for us a while back. I'll see if I can find that link for you. It should be in the 58-64 Body or General I would think.

And now you will want to know model numbers to decipher that.

11 is 2 door post

35 and 45 are wagon

37 is 2 dr ht

39 is 4 dr ht

67 is convert

69 is 4 dr sedan

1962 i asume

the 2dr HT windshield is unique,

2dr post, bubbletop belair, wagon, 4dr sedan are all the same

I think 4dr HT is unique as well.
