Oil pressure sender big block

I would like to reposition my oil pressure senders, one for dash lights and one for electric oil pressure gauge, to get them to a more accessible position up and away from between the block and extractors. Any suggestions, eg extension of some description etc which does not affect pressure reading? Thanks.

Senders and gauges are generally PSI calibrated. Here's where my sender is.....

Indeed its a beast. Of note that sender is specified as the one for a 403 Olds but most GM senders will work but you need to be mindful of the gauge you are using. The one in my car had an 80 psi scale which is common to Pontiacs so I needed to match the sender to that scale. In searching AC Delco parts I found that my dealer still had the 403 Olds which was calibrated to the right scale. Of course the 403 Olds was a Pontiac engine in the Firebird hence its compatibility to my scale.

Give it a little heat. The reason I like that spot is because as you mentioned the rear location near the filter make sit difficult when using headers or extracators as you so aptly said. There is another location at the rear of the block to the left of teh distributor hole which would likely require a 45 degree bend of threaded brass pipe as illustrated in the drawings Gerry sent.
