here in Oshawa it is 133 during the day and drops to 120 after 8.00 pm
you got to watch gas buddy for current prices as a large number of people are posting current pricing
PEI is the only province where the gov't (Island Regulatory and Appeals Commision) sets the gas price. Sadly with this setup every gas station has the same price. No gas wars here.

PEI is goverment intervention. I don't like it ! Price fixing leads to increased pricing and therefore creates more taxes. This is my opinion

Depends on who's doing the price fixing and screwing us Dale, govt or gas companies. Hard to know with the various different provincial taxes but our gas prices were 10 cents cheaper than in Ottawa on my recent visit there. Diesel was also quite a bit cheaper.

You have to ask yourself, who does this gasoline taxing and price setting really affect and why?
Lets take Timbuk's example and no reflection on Tim, its the last post and it has comparative data to use.
So at 40 litre fill up the lower price saved $5.60. Tim drove 45 minutes to get that savings, let's say the opportunity cost of his time is $30 per hour, the amount of money he could make doing something else rather than driving to get gas. In this example Tim's down $39.40, not even taking into account the fuel consumption of a two way 45 minute trip wear and tear on car etc... Add in waiting time at places like Costco.
Getting a lower price on gas doesn't affect the government, their tax is all in and forms the base cost of the litre of fuel so they don't care, Trudeau and McKenna get their piece,
I sure don't care, I just gave the 2 City Guys outside my office a $25 Tim Horton's card.
The folks it harms are the lower income people who's income is eroded at every turn, its part of the effort to create plenty of tax dollars for the ruling class to squander and create a subservient class of social assistance dependency and ensure continued votes for those in power.
Well I needed gas for my car tonight and I heard the price was going up 1 cent. Again.. 1 cent not much but 40 litres twice a week adds up in my Hyundai.
I use Gasbuddy.com to check local prices and it is usually quite accurate.
So I have 2 Petro Can stations that i frequent. One is 5 km away and the other is 8 km away. The 8 km one is almost always a cent or two lower.
Tonight The closer one is showing Reg 119.9 Mid 133.9 Premium 140.9 Diesel didnt check.
The one 8 km away Reg 102.6 Mid 114.6 Prem 121.6 Doesnt have Diesel
So 17.3 cents difference. at 11.44 pm
17.3 cents at 40 litres equals $6.92 or approx 6 more litres at 102.9
Took pump prices but photo did not show pricing....
Oh my........
Carbon Tax?

Well, wish I had one, I am in the wrong Province for sure. With what is posted above. Our regular in Metro Van is at $1.519 and is about to go up as of April 1st because the Government is adding a cent to the carbon tax. The two refinery's in Washington are doing some maintanence so no product. They are talking about it going to $1.609. Looks like some trips to the states are in the future. Down there it is $2.79 per gallon.
In my little world in the (Milton, Mississauga, Toronto) area as of late March 2019, as low as $104.0 and as high as $130.0. I need it so i buy it and of course it is all government greed and control of us underlings. If it was not for gas, booze and cancer stick taxes, governments would collapse.
