quarter panel replacement

The lower rear quarters, behind the wheel wells are rusted about 4" up. Need to cut it just above the lower roll. Need to cut these out and replace. Been about 20 years since I did any kind of tin bashing. Used to work for my dad for a years doing it but thats a long time ago. I can order replacements for a bonneville but would these sections line up or am i better off just buying some 20 guage and start shaping?

I ordered a proper rear quarter from noram and have not installed it yet but overloaded and it appeared decent. Canadian company too.

Is that actually for a Parisienne or a U.S. make Mike?

For Wayne's car or the wagon?

Let us know how it works out.

Nothing specific for the Parisienne. Here is the link NORAM sent me when I inquired.

Ah ha. Always wanted to know the difference in fitment between a '64 Catalina and a '64 Parisienne. I have a NOS '64 Parisienne passenger patch quarter kicking around.

Here is exactly the photo i sent along with the dimension to be sure of the length being a wagon

 Good to know.

Without scratching your convertible's paint no, how does the patch panel line up on it?

Thanks, Darryl.

It will - but the wagon is about 3 or 4 inches longer behind the wheel. I couldn't get it up right but it looked good. I borrowed my wife's sewing measuring tape to check dimensions and the matched other than length. All the horizontal lines matched. The wheel opening is about an 1-1/4" shorter then the convertible

Spoke with David at Noram. They will not alter pieces or custom build. You can purchase the panel as is and modify it yourself.
