Old paint


Took some rubbing compound to a section on the quarter panel to see if the old paint would come back to life after 61 years and was surprised at the results.

Here is a picture showing the area worked on.

Ok Paul. Now that you've done that small patch and got it looking like new, I guess you're now committed lol!

Some will frown on the loss of patina, I like the shine, but It'll grow back pretty quickly into what it was anyway if need be.
