65 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible Identification Help

First Time Post: Long story short, I have taken on a friends son's first car restoration. 65 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible. My question goes out to all you Pontiac full size experts. I would like to know exactly what I am working with before I start. MUCH appreciate any assistance you can provide me folks. VIN and Data Plate pics are attached and thanks. Cheers, Jim

series 764 = Parisienne 8 cyl but engine size doesn't show ( not a Custom Sport )
67 = body style = convertible
2-5-8 is date of scheduled manufacture = second shift May 8th
trim ( interior colour and style )= 270 = black
paint = W = glacier grey metallic
Top 02 = colour of top ( believe the 02 code is black but stand to be corrected
very low option car other than it's a convertible.

Might be best to get the GMVVS documents if you are doing it back to original. They will show all options including engine size and the selling dealer it was shipped to and more.

Might be best to remove the pic of the VIN tag for security reasons.

 Good idea.

Jim, I'm one of the moderators here, I went in and edited your VIN tag picture. I removed the last 3 digits. I hope you're ok with that.

Thanks for your time Sir. Can anyone recommend or provide links to finding 65-66 Parisienne parts?

Mechanically, always consider your car as being a 1965 Chevrolet Impala.

Rock auto. We here have had great luck with them,

Suspension Bushings,

Brake shoes,

Detroit Eaton Spring, Spring lookup.

Just fill in the year, model, engine, bodystyle and a list will appear. Use 1965 Impala Convertible.

They are good to deal with.

Classic Industries.

1965 Impala Convertible body mount kit.

Personally, good experience here also.

Metro Molded Parts. Their seals are said to be the best.

Your Canadian Pontiac may be a mix of Pontiac and Chevrolet as far as rubber parts go.

Door seals. Same between Pontiac/Chevrolet.

Full Metro Molded lists, 1965 B Body.

Chevrolet
