Princess Auto Rotisserie and X frame cars

Last Sunday we finally assembled my rotisserie I bought from Princess Auto about 3 yrs ago, when they first started carrying them.  We discovered the main support beam across the back isn't wide enough to get the car connection brackets past the trunk pan.  Princess Auto didn't have any box channel in stock and we didn't want to lose the day.  Through careful measuring Blake discovered he could cut 9 inches out of the center lower connecting beam.  The beam still has a 12 inch overlap on each end.  He then cut the 9" piece in half allowing him to add 4 1/2" to each end of the rear support beam.  When we were finished we had a full 1 inch to spare on the outer ends of the car connecting brakets.  Sorry we forgot to take photos.Rotisserie Modification.jpg
