Anyone have an "all options" red 1969 Parisienne?
(Preview)
About 20 years ago I saw a red 1969 Parisienne convertible at a coffee shop, stopped and talked to the owner, and made a long time friend. About 10 years ago, though, he sold the car up in the Regina area. It was a red Parisienne convertible, though with a 455. But he had accumulated almost all of the impo...

What color stripe on a black 2+2? Vinyl source?
(
1 2
)
(Preview)
Does anyone know what color the FACTORY would have used on a two-tone car, black with white roof? I would think white, but there is also a white-silver stripe in the parts book that might look better. With a blue interior it's got to be white, silver (or blue!), I imagine. Anyone have a source for a vinyl...

1969 to 1970 interchangability
(Preview)
Aside from the obvious nose, hood, trunk and rear bumper what other differences or parts will not interchange between the 1969 and 1970 full size CDN Pontiac? This is recognizing some of the trim differences between Parisienne, Laurentian, Strato Chief and 2+2.

Does anyone have my red 1969 2+2
(Preview)
This is a car I bought for summer cruising in Regina but it just started to rot because I was only there one week a year... but now I miss it. I'm wondering if anyone here has it or knows of its whereabouts? I bought it out of Calgary and a few years later (10 or so ago) I sold it on eBay into Winnipeg, I think......

Gas Mileage with a Big Block
(Preview)
OK maybe I'm bragging or maybe I just don't know how to do conversions but in a recent trip to Calgary and back from my home (about 6 hours each way) with the big yellow barge I checked my fuel mileage as the tank seemed to be going down more slowly than I expected. Now, this car has a bone stock and fairly mild...

Can anyone spare a '69 trunk lock from a parts car?
(Preview)
I need a complete trunk lock assembly - the lock, the little bar on the end that goes into the latch, and the metal retaining plate that holds it all in there. I have about partial locks and a plate, none of which I can see to make work. I do have one lock that fits the retention plate, but it doesn't have the l...

Gas pedal spring???
(Preview)
I have a 1966 Beaumont, I was wondering if there was ever a spring attached to the accelerator pedal to keep it depressed. Right now the only thing keeping it depressed is the throttle linkage on the carburetor, somehow I don't think that's how it works. Accelerator pedal is extremely sensitive and s...

Went to look at a 396 2+2 today.Vin is 7683791153xxx Seller is asking $400.00, is it worth it? I have a 70 2+2 for buckets and console and know of a solid Parisienne and have a 70's vintage big block that can be donated to the cause. The body work doesn't intimidate me.
