so i went out to the engine today starting retiming it and noticed one of the rocker cover bolts is broken off what should i do to remove it?

i have alot of ports wide open if say i had a large enough vacuum leak could that mess with the air to fuel mixture enough to say make the car run very lean and not start. i say this i asked my autoshop teacher whatr was goin on and he said it sounds like a vacuum leak.....also when pete was here i put alot of fuel...

Hey carl i added a couple things to those valve covers you gave me =) don't worry the oil breather came from the old 283 and soo did the oil filler but showing you this might give away my whole engine scheme... you should see the old air cleaner HAHAHAHA

this engine is being a total bitch it's still going no where in a hurry. so i set up the new cap and rotor as you can see by the pictures it is facing the right way and it is at TDC. anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

I got a phone call from pete saying he is a little early and he is in whitby. so he came to my school and picked me up crazy eh? then we headed to my house. so he showed me how to fix the timing. and we almost had her going but the battery died again and i need a new cap the one on the engine is cracked and is causing...

Frankly i have no idea what im doing soo got it turning over Great and i just don't have a spark.... i think i'm not getting any power the the dist but i can't figure it out... =(

First off i want to say thank you for everyone on here helping me sooo much but back to the main issue what bolts are used to join the torque converter and flex plate? =)

So.. I got the motor in and got it all together...Assumed the engine builder had it at #1 TDC ..put in the coil on top hei distibutor ..the rotor was pointing at 5 o clock if your standing at the front of the car..so thats where I put the #1 plug wire...18436572 went around counter clockwise got all the wire...

	starting issue's still.......
