Does anyone know what the dwell should be on a 250 6 cyl ? I am not to sure what Dwell actually is ? Is it the difference between the timing with the advance dissconnected and when it is connected ?

Im noticing a small anti-freeze leak around one of the head bolts on my 6 cyl. could it be something minor ?? Level in rad does not drop any more then 1/8 in in the last moth of driving (100 miles) I can see asmall amount arounfd the secound bolt from the rear on drivers side right above intake mainfold. ...

What is the screw on the top of the carb for that is not there on the replacement one (TOP RIGHT CORNER) good for ?? It runs great with out it.. NEW CARB OLD CARB

It is not that hard 1. bend 4 tabs that hold top to the base and remove top 2. clean contacts on top and on the small contacts that are held up by springs 3. stretch springs to put more tension on contacts 4. replace top on base and close tabs. 5. test before re-ins...

Today i thought id fix the leaking inspection plates on the side fo the 194 in my 63 Acadian,Had to pull the dist out to fix front one and must have not put it back in right,now no start,and no shop manual to look to reset timing,im guess thats what it is,Any help please,ran fine before so i know its just a mat...
