For years, and I mean years, I've had this tilt thinking some day maybe I'll have a Grande Parisienne again. So of course 2 years ago when I got my black car I figured I'm set, I have a tilt for it. Then guys on here started talking that the US tilts don't fit Canadian cars....... Today was the day, it's been n...

I was on Performance Years forum last night searching for factory tach info and came across a great resource if anyone is looking for tach installation in a full size. I just wanted to post up the pics here. BEWARE OF A MISTAKE IN THESE GM INSTRUCTIONS. THEY SAY TO CONNECT THE BROWN WIRE TO THE POSITIVE TE...

I've replaced the upper bearing in the 65 column, and there is at least 1/8 of up and down play in the wheel now. Looking at the shaft as it passes up through the bearing, it's tight on the inner race, the outer race is seated in the switch housing solid as well. The bearing is super sloppy between the races....

I'm not sure if anyone has had occasion to replace one of these but I just thought I'd show here what I found to be available (other than if you can find an NOS piece of course). Four Seasons offers their 35602. It is the same outside diameter, about 1/8" - 1/4" shorter and it's metal vs plastic. I don't hav...

Hi all. Looking for some info and hopefully pictures of the different steering wheels used in the 1968 Beaumonts. I have seen hundreds of the typical 1968 Beaumont Custom and SD steering wheels. What I am looking for is the ones that came in the Beaumont Deluxe and the base Beaumont/wagon. My underst...

Anyone that owns a 1967 beaumont either has a broken turn signal switch, or has had major grief trying to fix it. This is going to be complicated to explain, but if you own a 67 beaumont, you will want to stay tuned. If you have had your switch out, you will know that it is manufactured by a company called BOY...

No matter how I try to explain this, it's going to be long and drawn out! Last week I went to help a friend try to figure out a non-working fuel gauge on his 64 GTO (clone) that I sold him about 8-10 years ago. I supplied him with a 65 GTO tach and gauge cluster which he used. I modified the original 64 idiot ligh...

I've been frustrated for years with the multitude of ugly looking wiper blades they make for our old cars. Recently I stumbled across these. Some of you guys may know about them, maybe I'm the only guy who doesn't! They sure look go though, very much like original blades. -- Edited by 4SPEED427 on Wedn...

I took my 66 Beaumont to Hot August Nights in Reno, just got home and have got water/antifreeze, dripping very slowly from the passenger front seat cowl area .Heater core I would guess. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they make a aftermarket one and if so do you use chevelle or GTO, or Lema...

Does anyone have a 67 Beaumont, Chevelle, Lemans, GTO, Skylark, Cutlass, any A body that they can tell me what the rear coil springs look like? I would like to know if the top of the springs look like the black ones in the picture or the older rusty looking springs. Thanks. [IMG]https://i80.photobucke...
