How to decode engine #
(Preview)
Hi, I have a 1965 Parisienne Convertible which lost its original engine at some point along the way. The owners manual lists the original engine #805504170. Does anyone know how to determine from this code what the original engine was that came in the car? Thanks.

Magnet included in my 12 bolt shim kit. Where should it go?
(Preview)
I bought a 12 bolt 8.875" Super shim and Solid pinion spacer kit from a shop in BC. It came with a magnet, and I'm wondering if I should use it, and if I do, where should it go? Is it something that should always be done? My cover is aluminum, so without epoxy, it won't sit there.
